If your case cannot be completed on your first visit, you will be given an Application Status Letter from the RMV containing important information about how to check the status of your SAVE case with USCIS.
The RMV encourages TPS customers to come to the RMV to begin the application process at least 20 days prior to the expiration of their current license or ID card to ensure there is enough time to complete the transaction should your document(s) require additional resources or review and cannot be completed at the Service Center. If this process takes more than 60 days, you will be required to re-apply.
